1850
Warrnambool opened as a national school in 1850.
The first head teacher was John Donald.
1853
The average number of students was 49 (28 girls and 21 boys).
1863
The school became common school No. 646 in 1863.
1870s
The Department of Education took over the school in the 1870s and it became a state school. A rented building was used as the schoolhouse.
1876
The school closed when Warrnambool State School (No. 1743) opened.
