Head teacher Emile. W. Just established Beremboke as a common school in September 1870.

The wooden school building was extended to include a teacher's house.

The school operated full-time.
1919 to 1926
The school began operating on a part-time basis in 1919 due to low student numbers.
While it was part-time, Beremboke State School shared its teachers with the following schools:
