Plans and progress towards family violence reform

Our Free from violence strategy responds to Royal Commission Recommendation 187. The strategy looks at where inequality and violent behaviour is shaped, early intervention and crisis response.

This Rolling Action Plan will guide us through the next 3 years of the reform. It sets out our focus of activities to 2023 in the context of our 10-year plan to end family violence.

Family Safety Victoria works with diverse community groups, sectors and people with lived experience of family violence, to ensure their voices are at the centre of initiatives and reforms.
