The following map shows the current locations of Victoria’s waste, recycling and resource recovery infrastructure facilities, including:
- landfills
- hazardous waste facilities
- material recovery facilities
- resource recovery centres (also known as transfer stations)
- reprocessors.
For each infrastructure facility, the map shows:
- name
- facility type
- infrastructure type
- facility owner
- address.
For definitions of each infrastructure type, visit National standard and resource recovery data and reporting.
The data presented in the map is also provided below in CSV format.
This map does not include:
- Small-scale infrastructure such as battery collection points. This information can be found on Planet Ark’s Recycling Near You website.
- Non-licenced landfills or closed landfills. This information can be found on the Victoria Unearthed map or via the national map.
