Nominations open for the 2024 Victorian Training Awards

70th anniversary of the 2024 Victorian Training Awards announcing nominations are now open with Victorian Skills Authority logo, GAN Australia logo and Apprenticeship Employment Network logo as sponsors.

Nominations for the 2024 Victorian Training Awards are now open.

The Minister for Skills and TAFE Gayle Tierney opened nominations for the awards to honour achievements for:

  • apprentices
  • trainees
  • students
  • teachers or trainers
  • employers or training providers
  • industry representatives.

The awards span across 15 categories in the TAFE and training sector. There are 14 general award categories, as well as People’s Choice Awards, and a special individual award – the Lynne Kosky Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement.

The 2024 Victorian Training Awards nomination guide(opens in a new window) contains key guidance material for the nomination process including information
on each of the award categories, key dates and prizes, eligibility requirements, free writing assistance and how to apply.

The awards provide:

  • opportunities to network with industry leaders and peers
  • career opportunities
  • advanced career progression
  • cash prizes and other prizes such as MacBook laptops
  • enhanced reputation and industry profile for employer and training provider finalists and winners.

Winners will be announced at the 2024 Victorian Training Awards gala ceremony in August, and each will receive $5000.
