Nominations for the 2024 Learn Local Awards are now open.

Minister for Training and Skills, Gayle Tierney, is encouraging all Victorians to nominate trainers, learners, Learn Local programs and providers that are making a positive difference in Victoria’s adult community education sector.

With a prize pool of $84,000, the awards recognise and reward excellence and innovation in pre-accredited adult community education. Winners in the organisation categories receive $10,000; individual winners $5,000; and finalists $1,000.

Over 230 community organisations across Victoria focus on individual learner needs, offering tailored support in digital skills, literacy, numeracy, and employability, transforming the lives of over 30,000 Victorians each year.
