Howard Kelly has served the TAFE sector for more than 50 years as a teacher, a principal, a public servant, a research fellow and an advisor. His career has been devoted to the support of young people experiencing disadvantage to transform their lives through education.
As director of TAFE Industry and Partnership at Parkville College, Howard brought knowledge and experience from schools and VET to support the transition of young people from youth justice to apprenticeships, employment and training.
About the award
The Outstanding Achievement in the TAFE and Skills Sector Award (previously known as the Lynne Kosky Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement) is presented in recognition of an individual’s outstanding leadership and contribution to the Victorian TAFE and training sector for more than 15 years.
Recipients of this prestigious award have reached a pinnacle of their profession or industry and have demonstrated long standing commitment and outstanding leadership in the Victorian TAFE and training sector.
