22614VIC Certificate II in Building and Construction (Pre-apprenticeship) is designed to provide learners with skills and knowledge to undertake an apprenticeship within building and construction industry sectors.
The combined skills and knowledge of the pre-apprenticeship course does not provide for a job outcome as a qualified tradesperson. This course is intended to prepare individuals for further training.
The course includes units that introduce the learner to the application of specific materials, tools and equipment, and techniques used in specific trade sectors, that underpin Certificate III qualifications in the following trade sectors:
- Bricklaying
- Carpentry
- Painting and decorating
- Wall and ceiling lining
- Wall and floor tiling
- Solid plastering
- Stonemasonry
- Joinery/shopfitting/stairbuilding.

22619VIC Certificate IV in Heritage Conservation
This course is designed to provide training for qualified tradespeople to expand their existing skills and knowledge base, to specialise in heritage conservation works, in compliance with the Burra Charter and National Construction Code (NCC) requirements, for the conservation of structures.

- project cost control processes, including analysis of data for the lifecycle of the construction
- the application of environmental sustainability in BIM projects
- the application of BIM digital fabrication.
