SUBJECT: Registration open for professional development sessions for Learn Local trainers: Skills for Work and Study – Early childhood education Levels 1 and 2

- 10 - 11:30 am, 12 September 2023: Skills for Work and Study - Early childhood education Levels 1 and 2 professional development session
Although this professional development session is primarily focused on building Learn Local trainer capacity and capability in teaching early childhood education, we will also touch on the Skills for Work and Study centrally developed curriculum materials more generally and answer any questions.
The session will focus on the resources available in both the level one and level two modules and discuss how trainers can use these materials to help learners plan a flexible pathway, or scaffold learning for learners with a spiky profile. We will look at session plans and the trainer guides and discuss how to customise and adapt the materials to suit your individual learners.
We will also demonstrate how to navigate both the Learn Local website and the portal and how to access the materials.
