Year one (August 2023 – August 2024)
Our equal state is our roadmap for four years of action and investment in gender equality. It includes 110 actions that focus on cultural change, health and wellbeing, economic security, safety and respect, and public sector leadership.
Our equal state is a whole-of-government strategy. It recognises that achieving change requires all areas of government to work together to promote gender equality.
Our equal state is our State Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP). We will report on our progress towards implementing the strategy and table it in Parliament every two years.
