Actions and critical dates
- Express interest (EOI) to be a Coordinator of a Learn Local industry practice network using the form included in the Guidelines for Coordinators at Attachment 1 by 11 April.
The creation of Learn Local Industry Practice Networks is a new initiative of the ACFE Board in 2023.
In 2023 the ACFE Board is funding three Learn Local industry practice networks; one each in these three industry fields: Aged care; Health support services; Building and Civil construction.
The Coordinator role is a Learn Local leadership opportunity.
The Coordinator will establish the Learn Local Industry field practice network and report on its activities against a workplan developed by the network that is to operate as a community of practice.
Via purposeful collaboration, the networks are to extend statewide industry field pre-accredited training tailored to entry level work foundation skills needs to enable learners to apply for available jobs or keep jobs as work changes.
The networks are to comprise of industry field specialist Learn Local providers willing to share and develop, to best-practice level, their industry partnering experiences and resources and to mentor other Learn Local providers wishing to become confident and able to engage employers in an industry field in their local area for the benefit of learners and employers.
Learn Local Industry field practice network contracts will be for twelve months duration.
