Subject: Increase to pre-accredited training delivery subsidy rate from 2023
Actions / Critical Dates:
- The pre-accredited subsidy rate will be increased from $9.10 to $9.35 per student contact hour from 2023.
- No action is required by Learn Local providers as the Department will process this increase against the agreed 2023 ACFE training Delivery Plans.
- The subsidy rate increase applies to General Pre-accredited and Digital Skills program streams in 2023.
2023 Pre-accredited Subsidy Increase
In recognition of the additional training delivery costs incurred by Learn Local providers in the current environment, the current base subsidy rate of $9.10 per student contact hour for pre-accredited training delivery will increase to $9.35 effective from 2023.
With respect to 2023 training, the new rate will apply to both the General Pre-accredited and Digital Skills program streams.
This increase will be applied by the Department against the agreed 2023 Delivery Plans and will require no action by Learn Local providers for processing.
ACFE Board-funded pre-accredited training delivered by Learn Local providers provides opportunities for adult learners in Victoria to gain the educational capacity and core skills they need for study, work and life.
Increasing the subsidy rate in the current environment acknowledges the vital role of the Learn Local sector in changing the lives of thousands of Victorians by supporting learners to achieve their learning goals.
