Subject: Digital skills for the Workplace resources available on the Secure Portal on 11 July 2022

The final seven units of the 11 unit Digital Skills for Adults project will be available on the Learn Local Secure Portal on 11 July 2022.
We invite you to an information session where we will be in conversation with Frith Littleford, the Wyndham CEC project manager for the Digital Skills for Adults project. She will talk about the courses, their target audience and some of the unique features of the resource materials.
The resource materials include teacher and learner workbooks, videos and slide decks. A course plan and session plan are also provided. You will also have access to a mapping document that will show how the modules interrelate and expand on concepts and skills.
The materials are specifically written for the workplace and cover topics such as:
- introduction to Microsoft Word and Excel
- introduction to Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Microsoft Outlook and email
- online communication for the workplace
- digital solutions for gig economy workers
- point of sales systems for retail and hospitality
- online skills for microbusiness.
