Actions and critical dates

  • Registered Learn Local providers to nominate 2 account holders by Friday 19 November 2021. Instructions on how to do this will follow soon via email.

  • Nominated account holders to create EduPass accounts by Tuesday 30 November 2021.

  • System go-live scheduled for Tuesday 30 November 2021 with a training session booked for nominated account holders.

Learn Local Secure Portal Launch

The Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board is improving the Learn Local sector online presence by centralising resources and making new facilities available. This work will include migrating resources from the A-frame Exchange and during 2022 migrating the resources from https://learnlocal.org.au/resources/ to a new system on the Learn Local Sector website.

New facilities will include access to a learning management system called the Learn Local Secure Portal. The Portal will give Learn Local providers access to resources, support collaboration and engagement in professional development, professional networking and a range of online tools.

Access to the resources and other features is secured to Learn Local providers only. Accordingly, Learn Local providers will need to nominate 2 account holders no later than 12 noon Friday 19 November 2021. Instructions on how to do this will follow soon via email.

Once the Department has received the 2 Learn Local account holder details the Department will send to those account holders instructions about how to create their EduPass account. Account holders should create an account by 30 November 2021 if they want to get access to the Portal by launch date.

The system will ‘go-live’ with a training session hosted on 30 November 2021. The Department will support you in accessing and using the new system.
