Who We Are
The vision, purpose values, structure, and expectations of the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme.
Chairperson and Registrar's Report
The 2023-24 financial year saw the Authority continue to focus on identifying employers who have failed to register or didn't include eligible workers on their quarterly returns.
What We Do
The Authority administers the Scheme, makes payments of long service benefits, keeps registers of employers and workers, resolves disputes and consults with affected industries.
Year In Review
The number of registered workers and employers continued to rise, along with growth of the Scheme's assets.
Who Are We
The Authority has a governing board, audit and risk committee, governance team and reports to the Minister for Industrial Relations.
Our Board and Committees
The Board includes individuals with a range of expertise, qualifications, and experience, representing employers and workers. There is also an Audit and Risk Committee.
Our Business Units
Provides details of the functions of the business units along with workforce data.
Delivering on Our Targets
The 2023-26 Corporate Plan sets out the Authority’s short and medium-term priorities along with key target measures for success.
Other Disclosures
Includes local jobs first, government advertising, consultancy, and ICT expenditures. Also, freedom of information, compliance with relevant legislation and AMAF maturity assessment.
Attestation for financial management compliance with Standing Directions 5.1.4
The Authority’s target maturity rating is ‘competence’, meaning systems and processes are fully in place, consistently applied and systematically meet the AMAF requirement.
