Public entity executive remuneration bands - 2024 Determination

The Tribunal has made a new Determination setting the values of the remuneration bands for executives employed in prescribed public entities. The Determination has been backdated to take effect from 1 July 2024.

The Tribunal has also made new Prescribed Public Entity Executive Remuneration Guidelines, effective from 19 December 2024.

Updated base allowance values for Mayors and Deputy Mayors

The values of the allowances payable to Mayors and Deputy Mayors increased on 18 December 2024. This reflects the phasing of increases determined by the Tribunal in 2022. The values of the allowance payable to other Councillors have not changed.

The Tribunal has made a new Determination setting the values of the remuneration bands for executives employed in public service bodies. The Determination is effective from 1 July 2024.

Members of Parliament salaries and allowances - 2024 Annual Adjustment

The Tribunal has made a Determination providing for an annual adjustment to the values of salaries, allowances and the Electorate Office and Communications Budget (EO&C Budget) for Members of the Parliament of Victoria. The Determination is effective from 1 July 2024.

Proposals to pay an executive above their relevant band – requests for advice

A public sector employer proposing to pay an executive above the relevant remuneration band set the Tribunal must request and consider the Tribunal's advice.
