Veterans have a wealth of transferable skills, knowledge, and experience gained through their service that align with roles across the public sector.
The Victorian Government committed to support helping them secure meaningful and secure employment.
Veterans Employment Workshops are held regularly by the Office for Veterans to support veterans explore potential career pathways and opportunities to transition into the civilian workforce.
During these workshops veterans have the chance to:
- connect with HR representatives
- network with employers and employees from the Victorian public sector
- create connections with other veterans.
