The Learn Local sector has demonstrated agility and innovation in transitioning to online learning to support learners and their engagement during the COVID-19 crisis. The ACFE Board agreed to share existing high-quality online and digital learning programs and apply a quality assurance process for curating those programs.
The Department wants to establish a centralised collection of technology-mediated pre-accredited courses designed and developed by Learn Locals and available on the Learn Local Secure Portal.
We are seeking 4-8 good online or blended learning programs.
The materials can be on any pre-accredited topic and targeted to any one of the ACFEB’s priority learner groups as outlined in the four quadrants of the ACFEB strategy.
We expect the LLND levels to be level 2+ or below on the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and the Digital literacy Skills Framework (DLSF). See guidelines for more information.
There is no prescribed length, but we expect the course to be a minimum of 20 hours.
There is funding available for Learn Locals to make the required adjustments based on a quality assurance assessment.
All Learn Local providers interested in applying for this initiative must submit the attached expression of interest (Part B) by COB, on 22 March 2023.
Email any questions to Ms Josie Rose at josie.rose@education.vic.gov.au or contact your regional office.
