Subject: Professional development for Learn Local educators: Using a Project Based Learning approach to develop Foundations Skills

Pre-accredited program educators register by CoB March 24, 2023 to participate in a six-session professional development program in 2023 on Project Based Learning
Now open for enrolments is the 2023 professional development program on Project Based Learning. for Learn Local educators working in pre-accredited language, literacy, numeracy, employability and digital literacy programs. Registrations close by CoB March 24th 2023 unless fully booked first.
Project Based Learning (PBL) is an evidence-based approach to student centred and inclusive learning. It supports adult learning principles and situates learning in meaningful contexts. It is funded by the ACFE Board.to support its strategic focus on quality core skills training through a range of formalised, responsive delivery models.
The PBL PD program consists of six interactive group workshops and active learning to plan, trial, review and reflect on PBL through peer group collaboration and discussion. For maximum benefit, participants must attend all six workshops and commit to completing relevant activities in between.
The set of workshops for the 2023 PBL PD program will be held as follows:

Participants attending all six sessions will receive a statement of completion.
