Kamala – Lab Technician
Kamala loves investigating, solving problems and learning on the job.
She wanted to start a lab technician traineeship when she finished school because it leads to jobs in engineering, health and research.
Why she chose the VCE VM
Kamala enjoyed work experience in Year 10 at a local clinical lab.
This made her confident that a traineeship in the medical testing industry would be a great way to start her career.
She talked with her family, teachers and school’s careers counsellor about her options and to make sure she met the prerequisites.
