Emergency contacts
For emergencies where immediate police, fire or ambulance assistance is required, call Triple Zero (000).
VicEmergency provides information and advice to help people prepare for, respond to and recover from other emergencies. Their Relief and Recovery tab has useful information for emergencies, including who can help, what to do after a fire, and what financial and emotional assistance is available.
Our friendly team can assist you with information about both the 2019–20 Eastern Victorian Bushfires and the storm and flood event in June 2021.
Recovery hotline
The Recovery hotline is a single state-wide number, 1800 560 760, that Victorians impacted by disasters can call for help.
Operators can help with accessing:
- a recovery support worker
- mental health and wellbeing support
- financial counselling
- information on available payments
- clean-up and rebuild support.
