VicEmergency provides information and advice to help people prepare for, respond to and recover from other emergencies. Their Relief and Recovery tab has useful information for emergencies, including who can help, what to do after a fire, and what financial and emotional assistance is available.
Our friendly team can assist you with information about both the 2019–20 Eastern Victorian Bushfires and the storm and flood event in June 2021.
Emergency Recovery Hotline
Call the Emergency Recovery Hotline for information about recovery programs that may be available after a major disaster – such as a bushfire, storm or flood.
To get help, you can call 1800 560 760 from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (closed weekends and public holidays). Press 9 for an interpreter.
