Salaries
At the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, we offer competitive salaries under the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement. Under the current VPS Agreement, employees receive salary increases annually.
CPP2 - $60,915 to $75,175
CPP3 - $76,817 to $93,275, employees who hold a Social Work Bachelor Degree will commence at a higher salary being $80,111
CPP4 - $95,102 to $107,905
CPP5 - $109,730 to $132,764
CPP6 - $134,593 to 180,117
Salaries above are reflective of the VPSA salaries from 1 May 2024, based on a full-time roster and excluding superannuation.

4 annual wage increases of 3 per cent over the life of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2024.
salary packaging and 11.5% (from 1 July 2024) employer super contribution.

An annual clothing allowance is paid on 1 July of $650, pro rata for part-time employees.

This is a formal arrangement where 2 individuals share the responsibilities for a single full-time position by delivering the workload between them. Each employee works part-time hours that collectively amount to a full-time equivalent role.
Salary sacrificing options include:

Leave provisions include:
20 days of annual leave
15 days of personal/carer's leave
up to 38 hours per year paid professional development leave (pro-rate for part-time employees)
an extra 5 days of annual leave after 12 months of service
entitlement to access long service leave after 7 years of service.
Note: some leave will be pro rata based on part-time hours.
