We, the Victorian Government, acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Peoples and Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and waterways upon which our lives depend. Victoria’s actions to progress emergency management reforms
At the time of the 2019-20 fires, Victoria was already progressing significant emergency management reforms. These reforms continue to be implemented and expanded to build upon our learnings.
