The survey allows parents and carers to share feedback on their kindergarten experience.

The survey allows parents and carers to share feedback on their kindergarten experience.

Each year, parents and carers of children enrolled in a funded kindergarten program are invited to provide their feedback and views about their satisfaction with their child’s kindergarten program.

The feedback from parents and carers provide valuable information that is used to plan improvement in kindergarten programs and education offerings.

2024 survey

The 2024 survey will be open from Monday 14 October until Friday 8 November 2024 and will be administered by the Social Research Centre.

The survey is available in 10 languages other than English - Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Cantonese, Urdu, Sinhalese, Tamil, and Dari.

A service report is provided to all services who have 5 or more respondents to the survey.

2023 survey results statewide

Over 18,300 parents completed the survey in 2023.

Feedback shows that 90% of parents are satisfied with their child’s education received from kindergarten.

The survey was available in 10 languages other than English - Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Cantonese, Urdu, Sinhalese, Tamil, and Dari.

Service providers will receive access to their 2023 survey results if they have 5 or more respondents to the survey. No identifying information is collected in the survey and participants remain completely anonymous.
