Arrival is a new purpose-built system that will replace the Kindergarten Information Management System (KIMS) for mandatory kindergarten data reporting. Arrival will also include functionality to enable sessional services to collect and report attendance data.
Sign in sign out (SISO) functionality and existing software
Arrival will provide services that currently use paper-based records with digital sign in and sign out (SISO) capability.
Many sessional services already use existing SISO software to collect attendance data.
The department has established a data sharing pathway to support the collection of attendance information via existing software and will work with all software providers that express an interest to integrate with Arrival and meet the associated security requirements.
Enrolment data bulk upload
Arrival includes a multiple child upload functionality to support service providers to capture enrolment data in Arrival.
Templates for the multiple child upload are available on the Multiple child upload for enrolment data webpage. The templates and associated guidance can be used to assist software vendors that support kindergarten service providers with enrolment data collection and reporting.
