FSV is encouraging sector leaders in the specialist family violence response and prevention sector, and other sectors that intersect with family violence, to register their interest in the 2019 Leadership Intensives.
The Leadership Intensives program is designed to bolster the practical leadership skills needed to manage change associated with the reforms.
Participants in the 2018 program found that it inspired them to implement new ways of working and provided a unique opportunity to network and workshop issues facing their organisation with peers across the sector.
Following the success of last year’s program, FSV is funding places on six Leadership Intensives in 2019 – each consisting of four half-day sessions run across four months.
Forty sector leaders are about to embark on the first two programs, which start at the end of this month. Dates and locations for the final four intensives of the year will be announced in April.
The co-design model used by FSSI allows for each session to be modified to suit the needs and concerns of participants. Topics covered in previous sessions included influential leadership, innovation, workforce culture and organisational change, and governance in a future-focused organisation.
