The Orange Door in Loddon – with a primary site at 57 View Street Bendigo – opened today bringing together specialist services for children and families at risk, or experiencing, family violence in the region.
Family Safety Victoria is leading the statewide roll out of The Orange Door Network. In Loddon the partnership organisations are:
- Anglicare Victoria(opens in a new window)
- Bendigo and District Aboriginal Co-operative(opens in a new window)
- Centre for Non-Violence(opens in a new window)
- Njernda Aboriginal Corporation(opens in a new window)
Each primary site is complemented by access points and outposts, making it even easier for people to get in-person support wherever they live.
Access points for Loddon region will be opened in Maryborough and Echuca next year. Outposted services will also be established in Macedon Ranges and the Loddon Shire.
