Getting started with Arrival

Narrator: [gentle music] To get started with Arrival, you will need to action the steps in your email invitation including completing a registration process and setting up a security method the first time you use the system.

Check the 'Complete your Arrival registration' quick reference guide to find out more.

You can access this on the Arrival webpage. When you log into Arrival, you’ll see your dashboard. Arrival uses a role-based access model, so what you see on your dashboard will depend on your role.

Navigating in Arrival is easy: simply select a tile from your dashboard to navigate to the appropriate screen.

You can use the breadcrumbs along the top of the screen to keep track of where you are,

And use the icons on the page to find the records you want.

The search tool allows you to search within a list; the filter tool allows you to choose and apply filters, and the columns icon can customise which columns are visible.

You can even adjust the spacing between rows, or display the table in full screen format.

Additional icons to the right of each record allow you to view more and take action.

For each record, you can see if it is active or inactive, and how much of the record has been completed.

There are three actions you can take for each record: Select the pencil icon to view, edit or manage the record, the cog icon to configure the record’s settings, or the arrow icon to open the record.

Arrival also makes it easy for you to keep track of activities that need to be completed.

Some users can also see workflow status from their home screen. 'Your workflow queue' lists any activities that are in progress, not yet submitted, or in a 'draft' state.

'Notifications' provide important information about the system that you need to know.

A number inside the green circle will show how many new notifications you’ve received since your last login.

Unless indicated, all fields in Arrival are mandatory. Any fields that are optional will be marked with the word “optional” in brackets.

Tooltips, where available, provide helpful information about what to include in that field.

Arrival uses address validation. To enter an address, simply begin typing then select the correct address from the list. If you can’t find your address in the list, then you can also enter an address manually.

Arrival has a time-out function to support system security. This means if you don’t use it for 10 minutes, it will automatically log you out. But don’t worry: you’ll get a countdown message after 8 minutes, so there will be a clear warning before you are logged out.

Need further assistance? You can access guidance via the ‘Help’ link at the top right of your screen.

You can also contact the Arrival Helpdesk via phone or email. We’re here to help!
