Welcome to Arrival

Narrator: Introducing Arrival – a purpose-built system designed to replace the Kindergarten Information Management System (or KIMS) for mandatory kindergarten data reporting.

All funded kindergarten services will now use Arrival to report their programs and enrolment data.

With its enhanced functionality, Arrival makes it easier for services to input information about their funded kindergarten programs.

Think of it as a ‘one-stop shop’ for all kindergarten services to manage existing data reporting.

Arrival will also enable sessional services to easily collect digital attendance records.

Collecting attendance data will help guide policy and practice improvements, strengthen kindergarten engagement and participation, and maximise the benefits of a quality early childhood education, particularly with the expansion of funded kindergarten programs.

Arrival uses a role-based access model. This will give organisations control over who can view and manage information for their service.

The department is deeply committed to data security and privacy, especially when it comes to sensitive information about children. Strict protocols are in place to access and manage data securely in Arrival. We all have a role to play in keeping information about children safe.

More information about Arrival will be sent to current service providers, including links to guidance materials and how to access the system.
