Bachar Houli recognises the opportunity Free Kinder gives Victorian families - TRANSCRIPT
Bachar Houli: I've got three kids, very fortunate, Alhamdulillah, praise be to God.
I've got two girls, a nine year old, a five year old, and a two and a half year old.
Yeah, early education has been part of my family for a number of years, and both my two girls went to Four-Year-Old Kinder.
I think it's super important for kids to mix with other kids, meeting kids from all walks of life.
And it might be just simply just playing together. Get them away from home, from their close inner sanctum or inner connection with their family.
What it does is it prepares them for life to come, whether that's school or just simply out in the public.
My intention is to get my young lad in, into Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. And I'm really looking forward to that because there's so many benefits.
I think experiencing them or giving them the opportunity to create new environments, new people, meeting new people, it actually makes the home more healthy as well.
The other thing also is the financial aspect to it, which I feel like a lot of parents are gonna benefit from. It is a massive, massive saving. Of up to two-and-a-half thousand dollars per child.
The thing I'd say for parents from, from my background, and I guess from, from all backgrounds, it's a great opportunity and, no doubt, like in all honesty, I don't think I have to say much because it's, it's an opportunity that in a way it's kind of never happened before. And my advice is get your kid enrolled.
