It all started with a Tech School – Dylan's Story

Dylan, Digitech Coordinator Monash Tech School:

My role here at Monash Tech School is a Digitech Coordinator, which really just means that I get to play around with the technology that we have at Monash Tech School, develop new projects and programs for students to learn about how tech works, how tech functions.

I did get to come to a Tech School when I was younger. At Casey Tech School, I was really fortunate to be given the opportunity to experience different technologies that I haven't experienced before.

And it really fuelled my passion for IT and how much IT can do in the real world.

There's so many cool opportunities that students might not know about, and Tech Schools really give that opportunity for students to really know what tech really includes.

To introduce them to STEM, the way I was introduced at Casey Tech School, back in year 10.

I think that's the dream, to kind of give back to what I was given.

I think the experiences that I've gotten from, school and uni have really fuelled my passion for tech and how I really enjoy to, create things, build things, and input my creativity into the programs and projects that we develop at the Tech School.
