Gorgi Coghlan, Master of Ceremonies: This this year is so exciting because it marks the 69th anniversary of the Training Awards.
Gayle Tierney, Minister for Skills and TAFE: We have students and teachers, training providers and employers with us tonight and everyone here has played a crucial role in ensuring Victoria's tape and training system is world class. We know that good skills and training build great careers, strengthen our economy and support our society.
New Plumbing Solutions, Employer Award for Apprenticeship Development: Great to be in a room full of people supporting training.
The Women in Apprenticeships Victoria Electrical (WAVE) Project, Industry Collaboration Award: Diversity and inclusion is such a big piece of all of our work in our industry.
Beaufort and Skipton Health Service, Small Employer of the Year: What an absolute honour.
Jayco Australia. Large Employer of the Year: We are sitting right at the back, and we were having bets as to whether or not we were too far away to actually take the walk down as the winners.
VACCHO, Community Training Provider of the Year: We are very honoured as a peak body for Aboriginal health and an Aboriginal RTO.
Melbourne Polytechnic, Inclusive Training Provider: We work very hard. We understand that our students’ success is our success.
Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College, Small Training Provider of the Year: What an incredible group of finalists. I congratulate my fellow finalists and I encourage you to enter next year.
TAFE Gippsland, Large Training Provider of the Year: And really is a great deal of hard work, dedication, effort, passion, tears, all the rest of it.
