Motivated by purposeful projects and missions, Kate Kennedy is a respected leader in global and local organisations.

Kate has worked in some of the most complex areas of human rights, including anti-slavery, child protection and systemic change for the disadvantaged. Kate’s social and public sector knowledge has been the impetus for her work in major property developments.

Her executive roles have included Strategic Director of World Vision, CEO of Hagar Australia (Southeast Asia), Program Director of The Pratt Foundation and Managing Director of Freedom Fund, New York.

Working internationally, within and alongside the United Nations, global governments and the private sector, Kate’s strategic and collaborative leadership has helped change how big business does business, for the betterment of those that are often not seen or heard.

She has successfully advocated for policy and legislative change relating to abuse including child sexual exploitation, slavery and orphanage tourism with Australian and Southeast Asian governments.

Her work for Prime Minister and Cabinet saw her research and paper on Current Volunteering in Australia guide Federal policy and funds.

Kate is currently Director of Projects at Brotherhood of St Laurence leading feasibility on major precinct project.
