To help keep children and young people safe and families strong, join Victoria’s child protection service.

You can make a real difference by becoming a child protection practitioner, investigating and protecting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who are at risk of harm or neglect.

You will draw on your personal skills including:

  • thinking analytically
  • working well under pressure
  • developing new programs, or strengthening existing programs to improve outcomes for at risk children and young people
  • collaborating with a diverse group of people towards a common goal.
