Subject: Learn Local branded resources to promote Adult Learners Week 2021
Actions / Critical Dates:
The annual Adult Learners Week starts this Wednesday 1 September and runs to Wednesday 8 September 2021. The theme this year is ‘Change your story’ and it promotes the idea that people can make a fresh start, take their lives in new directions, start or create a new future through adult education. This has never been truer than now for the Learn Local sector and its learners.
Adult Learners’ Week is always a wonderful celebration of the inspiring work that you all do every day to help your learners change their story. There are some great suggestions for hosting an event (either virtual or in person pending COVID restrictions) on the Adult Learners Week website. There are also a wide range of planned events that you and your team may like to participate in to celebrate ALW2021.
The Department has prepared a number of Learn Local branded resources for use by Learn Local providers during ALW2021.
Learn Local ‘Happy adult learners week’ social media tile (JPG) – This tile can be shared on your organisation's social media channels as a way to celebrate Adult Learners Week.
Learn Local A5 flier (PDF) – This flier is intended for stakeholders that require a brief introduction to Learn Local courses. It is best shared via email or printed two to a page and distributed locally.
Learn Local A4 flier (PDF) – This flier is intended for stakeholders that require a bit more detailed information about Learn Local courses. It is best shared via email.
There are also a number of other Learn Local assets and templates available for use by Learn Local providers if you prefer to develop your own promotional resources, please see: Learn Local Brand Toolkit
