With more than 30 years’ experience in the health sector, clinical service, management and governance, Cathie has been instrumental in improving food security for regional communities.
After more than 10 years as the go-to person with Bendigo Foodshare (BFS), Cathie moved on to establish and chair the Regional Food Security Alliance Board, where she leads improvements to regional food security by removing logistical barriers and improving the sustainability of Regional Food Hub distribution partnerships with over 446 rural and regional charities, community houses and schools.
