Wage Inspectorate wins 2023 Victorian Employer Support Award

The awards recognise employers committed to supporting reservists in their workplace. They acknowledge employers that have gone above and beyond for their reservist employees, over a sustained period or for a special effort to enable the member to complete their Reserve commitments.

We were nominated by a long-time staff member and Army Reservist, who also works for 4th Brigade Headquarters.

The nomination noted that “the Wage Inspectorate had consistently demonstrated exceptional support and understanding, enabling me to fulfill my duties within units of the 4th Brigade for more than 15 years.”

“Their commitment to accommodating my reserve obligations by granting me leave for exercises, training courses and domestic operations exemplifies their unwavering dedication to supporting their reserve employees," the nomination said.

The Wage Inspectorate was honoured to receive the award from Major General Douglas Laidlaw, AM, CSC, Head of Joint Support Services Division.
