Libbi Gorr continues to be a trailblazer in the arts and media sectors. She is a creative leader and mentor. She has devoted her adult life (since 1987 with The Hot Bagels) to challenging stereotypes and raising issues in joyous and provocative incarnations.

She has taken risks along the way and often been the only woman prepared to ‘have a go’ in the male-dominated live entertainment sector. Her longevity and creative output are an inspiration to young Australians intent on carving their own path in the creative arts.

Libbi’s incredible talents and contributions span television, radio, film, writing, journalism, university lecturing, and performing live and stand-up comedy. She has forged a path for women in the arts and broadcast mediums. Libbi continues to contribute to the cultural life of Melbourne today.
