Dr Belle Lim has dedicated herself to contributing to her new community in Victoria. She moved here in 2013 as an international student.
Belle founded Future Forte, a charity non-profit organisation. She has created a welcoming and inclusive community. It showcases excellence from the multicultural community ensuring that diverse voices are heard and valued.
Since 2019, the flagship Future Forte Conferences and programs have welcomed more than 2,500 people from over 50 countries.
Belle is a recognised global youth leader and advocate and a practitioner in equity, diversity and inclusion.
She was the National President at the Council of International Students Australia throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, Belle effected positive change for this vulnerable community through advocacy at the highest levels of government.
Belle takes an interdisciplinary approach to her work and leadership. This is crucial to lead the world of tomorrow and empower the next generation of diverse leaders.
