Jobs that Matter is a recruitment campaign that raises awareness of the community services sector, it’s importance in Victoria and the rewarding nature of the roles. It showcases the people and the broad job opportunities available across the community services sector in the areas of disability, children and families, housing and homelessness, child protection and family violence and prevention sectors.
There are jobs available right now supporting families fleeing violence, people with disability, those experiencing homelessness, and children who need care and support.
The Victorian Government partnered with community services organisations to help recruit the right people for the right jobs to work in thousands of jobs needed by the sector. Recruitment focuses on reaching capable and diverse people who are qualified or have experience, career changers, Aboriginal, culturally and linguistically diverse and regionally-based Victorians, as well as young people thinking about their career.
