The festive season is a time to celebrate with our loved ones.

As we order last minute gifts online and eagerly await packages to arrive, it’s important to learn the warning signs of a scam.

This time of year is a particularly popular time for scammers to trick people into thinking they’re getting a great deal.

That’s why our place to go for government services, Service Victoria, recently launched a spot a scam quiz.

See if you can tell if a bargain is too good to be true!

Yesterday, our Chief Information Security Officer, Dovid Clarke, joined ABC Victoria Statewide Mornings with Jonathon Kendall to talk about delivery scam texts and emails and how to avoid them. You can listen to the discussion on ABC (skip to 1:08:20).

To learn more about online safety, visit Stay safe online. Developed by the Department of Government Services, Stay safe online is a hub of practical tips and advice.

Happy holidays, everyone!
