New International VET Practitioner Fellows announced

The VSA is pleased to announce the next cohort of VSA-International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute) fellows for year and their research projects.

	Associate Professor Melanie Williams from William Angliss Institute Research topic: International perspectives for creating Centres of Excellence in Australia
	Owen Smith from Victoria University Research topic: Exploring how relational pedagogy and community strengths can support marginalised learners to succeed in VET
	Kerri Ledingham from RMIT Research topic: More than maths phobia: Supporting dyscalculic students in vocational education
	David Atkinson from Box Hill Institute Research topic: Exploring best practices in developing VET teaching competences through Continuing Professional Development (CDP) programs in Germany
	Thuy Thi Hong Cao from AMES Research topic: Integrating AI in vocational education and training to increase participation (student engagement) and completion rates.

The new fellows will have 12 months to complete their research. Applications for the first round of fellowships in 2025 program will open December 2024.
