The VSA is pleased to announce the next cohort of VSA-International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute) fellows for year and their research projects.
Associate Professor Melanie Williams from William Angliss Institute Research topic: International perspectives for creating Centres of Excellence in Australia | |
Owen Smith from Victoria University Research topic: Exploring how relational pedagogy and community strengths can support marginalised learners to succeed in VET | |
Kerri Ledingham from RMIT Research topic: More than maths phobia: Supporting dyscalculic students in vocational education | |
David Atkinson from Box Hill Institute Research topic: Exploring best practices in developing VET teaching competences through Continuing Professional Development (CDP) programs in Germany | |
Thuy Thi Hong Cao from AMES Research topic: Integrating AI in vocational education and training to increase participation (student engagement) and completion rates. |
The new fellows will have 12 months to complete their research. Applications for the first round of fellowships in 2025 program will open December 2024.
